How can I nominate my company?

Nominating your company is easy. Simply review the Awards Criteria and then visit our nominations page to fill out an application. Please review the guidelines at the bottom of this page for entering the competition, as incomplete applications will not be accepted.

What if my company wins?

The overall winner of the competition will receive a tailored advertising program worth $50,000 through the CBJ, as well as website advertising throughout 2012. The program will include monthly advertisement placement within the publication and a prominent web advertisement on CBJ’s homepage, which serves as an ideal place to showcase and promote the winner of the Company of the Year Award: it enjoys an average monthly readership of about 350,000. In addition, the winning company will receive an extensive company profile in CBJ in the first quarter of 2012.

George Media will also reproduce the company profile, with its own customized covers, into a digital brochure for the winner’s future marketing and promotional initiatives.

A commemorative trophy will also be presented to the winning company.

The runners-up in the competition will also benefit from the extensive general readership of CBJ, through editorial coverage in 2012.

When will decisions be made for the awards?

Here is the general timeline for the awards:

  • December 23th - closing date for submissions
  • CBJ will review and shortlist all submissions. CBJ will contact the short listed companies to allow them to expand further on the awards four key areas and to discuss additional areas that they feel are pertinent to their success
  • Panelists review
  • The winner and runner ups will be notified.
