A world class conference centre

The hotel opened its doors as the Markham Suites Hotel in February 1989, later becoming the Embassy Suites, before realigning itself as the Hilton Suites Toronto/Markham Conference Centre & Spa—a name it has now had for nine years.

Despite its early name changes, the ownership and the vision to provide its guests with a superior product have “remained the same”, Regina remarks.

Regina has been with the property for three-and-a-half years.

Starting his career in hospitality more than 25 years ago at a Hilton property nearby Pearson International Airport, Regina moved on to work for several other big name hotel chains before finding himself back with the Hilton brand and in charge of one of Ontario’s leading business hotels.

“It was fantastic to be able to go full circle and come back to Hilton with this property,” states Regina. “After working for various other brands, I am proud of the culture and sense of belonging that is felt when working within the Hilton Family of Hotels.”
