Buy A Mug, Plant a Tree! Good Earth Coffeehouse Supports Nature Conservancy of Canada

Good Earth Coffeehouse

Good Earth Coffeehouse, a company of environmentally responsible coffeehouses, is partnering with the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC), to raise funds for NCC’s conservation work in Canada.

Whenever a customer purchases a Good Earth travel mug from April 2 – May 31, $1.50 will be donated to the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC). Donations will purchase seedlings that will then be planted on World Environment Day (June 5, 2015).

NCC is the nation’s leading private land conservation organization, working to protect our natural areas and the plants and animals they sustain.

“Since 1991 Good Earth has made environmental responsibility a part of its mission,” says Nan Eskenazi, founder of Good Earth Coffeehouse. “Our ongoing partnership with the Nature Conservancy of Canada is a natural fit for us. We are proud to be supporting NCC, who works to protect valuable natural areas throughout Canada. We encourage everyone to be take part in this Campaign and help make an impact on World Environment Day in June.”

About Good Earth Coffeehouse:
Good Earth is a network of authentic coffeehouses with over 45 locations throughout Alberta, British Columbia and Saskatchewan. The first Good Earth Coffeehouse opened in Calgary 1991. Founders, Nan Eskenazi and Michael Going, began with a desire to serve exceptional coffee and wholesome food, with a down-to-earth attitude. Good Earth has focused on creating a unique experience for customers through the combination of a distinctive coffeehouse environment with social and environmental responsibility. The company has grown through franchising, and remains true to the original mission… to be a coffeehouse with good food.

About NCC:
The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) is Canada’s leading national land conservation organization. We are a private, non-profit group that partners with corporate and individual landowners to achieve the direct protection of our most important natural treasures through property securement (donation, purchase, conservation agreement and the relinquishment of other legal interests in land) and long-term stewardship of our portfolio of properties.
