The Canadian Chamber of Commerce has one mandate: to be the “Voice of Canadian Business." However, the organization’s vision is to be the premiere active advocate of economic activity in the Canadian marketplace to political leaders nation-wide. They offer a continuous link between small-to-large businesses and those political figures who represent the health of the Canadian marketplace.

We had the opportunity to speak with the Honourable Perrin Beatty, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Chamber, and Roger Thomas, Chair of the Board of Directors. Despite the turmoil of the North American economy, the two business leaders made it clear just how important Chamber membership can be when things are uncertain.
