CN Rail Looking for New CEO
CBJ — Canadian National Railway is in search of a new CEO after the abrupt departure of Luc Jobin.
The move came as Canada’s largest rail company struggles through a number of critical operational and customer service issues.
“The board believes the company needs a leader who will energize the team, realize CN’s corporate vision and take the company forward,” board chairman Robert Pace said in a statement.
CN has appointed chief marketing officer Jean-Jacques Ruest as the interim CEO while the company seeks a permanent replacement for Jobin, who became chief executive in 2016 after serving as the railway’s chief financial officer.
