Earth Alive’s Soil Activator Registered and Poised for Commercialization in India
MONTREAL, Dec. 03, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Earth Alive Clean Technologies Inc. (CSE: EAC) (“Earth Alive” or the “Corporation”) is pleased to announce the registration of the Corporation’s Biofertilizer, Soil Activator product in India.
Over the past two years, Earth Alive conducted trials on various crops in India, which produced significant results. “India is an agricultural powerhouse with 395 million acres of arable land,” said Simon Neufeld, Earth Alive Chief Agronomist, “gaining access to this market with the results achieved during the trials is very exciting.”
“Mustard field trials demonstrated a 35% increase in production with substantially taller plants and longer roots, while wheat and rice trials showed increased yields of 43% and 26%, respectively,” stated Earth Alive Senior Agroecology Specialist, Dr. Hasrat Arjjumend. “Soil Activator has proven itself as a reliable input in increasing yields, while regenerating soils, at a time when interest in soil health is on the rise among Indian farmers and local authorities.”
“The registration in India has been a goal for us for quite some time and our sustained efforts resulted in the authorization to sell Soil Activator in one of the world’s largest agricultural markets. We are currently exploring various commercialization opportunities and look forward to working in this market.” stated Chief Executive Officer Michael Warren. “It is important to note that registration of Soil Activator in India also represents an entry point for Earth Alive into the South East Asian region.”
The registration of Earth Alive’s biofertilizer in the Indian market is the 19th free to sell registration achieved by Earth Alive. Currently Soil Activator is in pre and full commercialisation in 21 countries around the world.
