Funds Raised for the 16th Annual BK Invitational, Held at Woodloch Springs Country Club, Allow Foundation to Cross the $1,000,000 Threshold, with Proceeds Benefiting Cancer Research

HAWLEY, Pa., Oct. 14, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Sixteen years ago, Bob Kiesendahl (BK), a Leukemia survivor and co-owner of Woodloch Resort located in Pennsylvania’s Pocono Mountains, established BK Hope Cures, an organization with the mission to raise awareness and funds in the fight against cancer. On October 4th and 5th, Woodloch Springs Country Club hosted the 16th annual BK Invitational, a charity golf tournament that helped break the $1,000,000 mark for the Hope Cures Foundation. Funds raised by the organization benefit The Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, The Lance Armstrong Foundation LIVESTRONG, Endowed Leukemia Research Fund at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and Susan G.
