MagneGas Regains Compliance with NASDAQ Minimum Bid Price Requirement
TAMPA, FL–(Marketwired – February 02, 2018) – MagneGas Corporation (“MagneGas” or the “Company”) (NASDAQ: MNGA), a leading clean technology company in the renewable resources and environmental solutions industries, announced that it has regained compliance with the minimum bid price requirement for continued listing on the NASDAQ Capital Market. On January 16, 2018, MagneGas effected a 1-for-15 reverse stock split of its outstanding common stock intended to increase the per share trading price of MagneGas’ common stock to satisfy the minimum bid price requirement of $1.00 per share for continued listing on the NASDAQ Global Market, as set forth in NASDAQ Listing Rule 5450(a)(1) (the “Bid Price Rule”).
On February 1, 2018, MagneGas received a letter from The NASDAQ Stock Market LLC stating that because MagneGas’ shares had a closing bid price at or above $1.00 per share for a minimum of ten 10 consecutive business days, MagneGas’ stock had regained compliance with the Bid Price Rule and the matter is now closed.
