Nestle Selling Pure Life

CBJ — Nestle has officially put up the ‘For Sale’ sign on its North American water brands including Pure Life and Poland Spring.

The move by Nestle is rooted in an executive decision to return to core business interests and exit from slower developing business opportunities, which at one time were viewed as strong add-ons.

Nestle, with headquarters in Switzerland, is hoping to generate $5 billion from the sale of the two aforementioned brands as well as Arrowhead, Deer Park, Ozarka, Ice Mountain and Zephyrhills. The company plans to retain premium water brands such as Perrier and San Pellegrino.
