Paysafe’s Carla Erlick Recognized as Rising Star in 2016 Women in Payments Awards
Montreal – Carla Erlick, Senior Vice President Sales and Business Development at payments provider Paysafe, has been named a Rising Star at this year’s Canadian Women in Payments symposium.
The award recognizes talented women in payments who have demonstrated leadership, professional excellence, and a commitment to motivating others to make a positive impact in the payments industry.
The accolade reflected Carla’s ability to balance strategic planning and implementation while driving sales within Paysafe’s global integrated software partner channel. Carla was one of three recipients to be recognized as a 2016 Rising Star at this year’s fifth annual Women in Payments event held in Toronto on 20 September.
Commenting on the recognition, chair of the Women in Payments awards committee, Jo Canning says: “Carla’s ability to build exceptional relationships and to generate new channel and business development opportunities, along with her infectious work ethic and passion is inspiring.”
“Overall the awards committee were impressed by Carla’s energy and her ability to translate her knowledge of the industry to clients and colleagues alike,” adds Jo.
“It’s a great honor to be recognized with this award,” says Carla. “The payments industry is continually evolving in response to new technology and changing consumer demand. It’s an exciting world to be a part of and Women in Payments does a fantastic job in celebrating successful women across the industry.”
Commenting on the industry recognition, Paysafe Chief Operating Officer Danny Chazonoff says: “Carla’s expertise is a great asset to Paysafe and I am delighted that her hard-work and contributions have been recognized among such high-calibre payment professionals.”
