Profound Medical Retires Bank Debt Ahead of Schedule

(TSX:PRN; NASDAQ:PROF) (“Profound” or the “Company”), a commercial-stage medical device company focused on customizable, incision-free therapies which combine real-time Magnetic Resonance Imaging (“MRI”), thermal ultrasound and closed-loop temperature feedback control for the radiation-free ablation of diseased tissue, today announced that it has retired its $12.5 million in principal amount loan with Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (“CIBC”), maturing on July 29, 2022.
