Located in Edmonton, Alberta, the Oasis Centre is a premier Western Canadian venue for hosting corporate, educational and social events. The privately-owned and operated venue is preferred for clients who wish to host a wide variety of corporate and social functions events for as many as 750 guests. Now in its sixth year, the facility’s features and amenities, combined with willingness of the staff to accommodate its clients’ needs, allow the Oasis Centre to service the greater Edmonton and national business community.

From the first step inside

Distinguished from mainstream conference centres, the sophistication of the Oasis Centre greets its visitors from the moment they step foot in the venue, as they are welcomed into a 1,500 square foot marble foyer that features a large aquarium with Koi fish. Particular attention has been paid to the architecture, finishing and lighting to create not only an elegant ambiance, but a high-functioning facility in which to conduct small, medium, and large-scale events.
The Oasis Centre’s gorgeous verdant grounds include a pond and picturesque garden which clients enjoy for both corporate and social events. The beautifully landscaped enclosed garden includes two waterfalls with a lily pond, English lawns, prairie flora, herbs, fruit and English Rose plantings, an outdoor stage, and standing area for up to 300 guests.

The Oasis Centre features a 6,500 square foot Grand Hall featuring 24’ high ceilings with natural or controlled lighting, tiered theatre seating up to 750 including balcony, banquet table seating up to 350, and a built in stage with flexible size options. Complementary luxurious executive lounges and board rooms have private entrances for enhanced discretion, and can be used for corporate and social events.
Described as a “hidden jewel, unique in Edmonton and Alberta,” by clients, the Oasis Centre partners with and support its clients to provide the best possible care and create a successful event.

“It is up to us to inspire our clients,” says Executive Director, Leigh Ann de Ruiter. “We have the experience, we have the know-how, and we have high expectations of ourselves.”

to create a facility in the community that could provide educational and corporate events. This has grown to include a wide variety of social events.”
Attention has been focused on providing a space that helps to bring out the optimal potential of an event leaving clients and their guests both inspired and uplifted. “There are many details to be taken care of in any event,” says Christine Dimler, Conference Director. “And our team of event planners help our clients with the planning of their event, and are with them during the event so clients can enjoy their event with ease and confidence.”

Private Events

Especially appealing to clients is the fact that the Oasis Centre caters to one event at a time — no cookie cutter assembly line here. “Clients who book the Oasis Centre get the private use of the whole facility,” says Dimler. “Every room is multifunctional. The foyer is used for a break-out space, but you can also have smaller events such as cocktail parties.”

The Oasis Centre has purveyed a preferred list of caterers who provide a range of options for clients, from simple to more exclusive menus. The grand hall has its own audio visual booth, and an expert AV staff who take all the details off the clients’ hands. Whether it is live stream, a post-production DVD, video conferencing or live-stream, the AV is a wonderful asset to the Oasis Centre.

Two motorized 12’ x 9’ drop down projection screens, built in projectors with dual 12’ projection screens, ceiling mount remote controlled projectors and a full range of remote audio-visual equipment is available.
